Discovering Malaysia
Her first visit to Malaysia introduced her to a country, its people and a way of life that would eventually become part of her own story.
Four SeasonsNoodle House · 四季面館
For Madam Dai Jun, food has never been simply a business. It has always been a part of life.

Born and raised in Anshan, Liaoning Province, in North-Eastern China, Madam Dai Jun grew up surrounded by the traditions of Chinese home cooking.
From learning to prepare noodles and dumplings at a young age to spending decades building businesses and working with food, her journey has always been closely connected to the kitchen.
In 2018, she brought that experience, those traditions and her own interpretation of Chinese Muslim cuisine to Cyberjaya, where Four Seasons Noodle House first opened its doors.
And this is where her story begins.
Long before Four Seasons Noodle House came to Cyberjaya, Madam Dai Jun’s story began in Anshan, a city in Liaoning Province, North-Eastern China.
Growing up in a place where the seasons change dramatically, she was surrounded by a food culture shaped by family, tradition and the simple pleasure of sharing a meal.
It was here that she first learned to cook, discovering the art of making noodles and dumplings by hand, skills that would remain with her long after she left China.
Years later, she would bring those familiar flavours, treasured recipes and a lifetime of experience to Malaysia.
Different country. Different seasons. The same love for food.
Some of life’s most treasured recipes are learned long before we realise their worth.

For Madam Dai Jun, cooking began at home in Anshan, where her mother taught her the art of making noodles by hand.
Dough was rolled and cut with patience. Dumplings were folded around the family table, especially during celebrations, when preparing food was as much about being together as the meal itself.
What began as childhood lessons eventually grew into a lifelong relationship with food.
Over the years, Madam Dai Jun built her experience in China’s restaurant industry, operating different dining concepts and learning from the chefs around her. She watched, listened and paid attention to the smallest details, from the freshness of ingredients to the way a dish was prepared and served.
Those early lessons, combined with decades of experience, continue to influence the food served at Four Seasons today.
Rooted in Chinese tradition. Guided by her faith. Made for everyone to enjoy.
Sometimes, the greatest journeys begin with the courage to start again.
Leaving behind the familiar, Madam Dai Jun found herself building a new chapter of her life in Malaysia. What began as a visit would eventually become a place she calls home, and the beginning of Four Seasons Noodle House.
Her first visit to Malaysia introduced her to a country, its people and a way of life that would eventually become part of her own story.
In December 2017, she made the move to Malaysia. Without speaking English or Bahasa Malaysia, she embraced an unfamiliar environment, finding warmth and kindness in the people she met.
Four Seasons Noodle House opened its doors at Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya.
On that first day, the restaurant made just RM82 in sales.
It was a humble beginning, but one that Madam Dai Jun has never forgotten.
Through difficult years, including the pandemic, Four Seasons has continued to welcome the people of Cyberjaya.
What began as a small restaurant has become a familiar table for students, working professionals, families and friends.
And for Madam Dai Jun, the greatest reward remains simple: seeing people enjoy the food she makes.
For Madam Dai Jun, running a restaurant has never meant stepping away from the kitchen.
She still takes a personal interest in the ingredients, the preparation and the flavours that leave her kitchen. From the noodles made by hand to the dishes served at the table, her attention remains on the things that matter most: freshness, authenticity and food worth coming back for.
Because to her, a good meal is about more than what is on the plate.
I hope they feel at home.
What began with a love for cooking has grown into something much greater.
For Madam Dai Jun, the dream has always been about sharing the food she knows and loves with more people. From the familiar warmth of her restaurant in Cyberjaya to the possibilities that lie ahead, her journey is far from over.
And at the heart of it all remains one simple wish.
My dream is to bring all the Chinese food I make to every single Malaysian.
